After receiving a "warning" from a radical Islamic Web site following their Prophet Muhammed parody on "South Park" last week, Trey Parker and Matt Stone aren't taking any chances.
On Wednesday's episode, the prophet was referred to only with a "bleep" sound and his image was blocked out with the word "censored."
Parker and Stone came under fire after last week's 200th episode of the Comedy Central series featured the Islamic prophet as a bear.
According to the "South Park" Web site, the studio added additional audio bleeps to the 201st episode following a warning by Revolutionmuslim.com.
The Queens-based Web site warned Parker and Stone Wednesday that they should not toy with the Prophet Muhammed, suggesting the duo could end up like slain filmmaker Theo Van Gogh, who was killed in 2004 after filming a documentary about Muslim women.
"They're going to be basically on a list in the back of the minds of a large number of Muslims," Abu Talhah al Amrikee, author of the post, told Fox News. "It's just the reality."
The posting revealed the addresses of Comedy Central in New York and the contact details of "South Park's" production company.
This was not the first time "South Park" parodied the Prophet Muhammed.
The Muslim figure was parodied in 2001 and again in 2006, though Comedy Central ended up censoring the latter scene and it never aired.
That's pretty crazy. I even wonder if Comedy Central will even air either episode again. I missed the new South Park at 10 last night usually they re-air it at midnight even my DVR said it was episode "201" and when I went to watch it it was an episode from earlier in this season.
I was wondering why they kept censoring when they said muhammad when they didn't last week. But it all makes sense now.
Death is not the worst of evils.
You can't be down, when you're always high.
That's what it says when you try to watch the stream of "201" on South Park Studios.
So according to that it was Comedy Central who put all the extra censoring in, not Matt Stone and Trey Parker. That would suck if they got killed over this.

Whats really stupid is if you go on South Park Studios in season 5 their is an episode titled "Super Best Friends" which shows a cartoon muhammad uncensored many times.
Also, where the fuck was Starvin Marvin in these episodes?

On Thursday afternoon, Trey Parker and Matt Stone released the following statement:
In the 14 years we’ve been doing South Park we have never done a show that we couldn’t stand behind. We delivered our version of the show to Comedy Central and they made a determination to alter the episode. It wasn’t some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle’s customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn’t mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too. We’ll be back next week with a whole new show about something completely different and we’ll see what happens to it.
