Pretty vague for all the shit that happened surrounding it and the fact is is actually here. Were you happy to find some closure or do you think the story should have been left alone where it was? I'm about to start it right now but back when it was announced, I was one of those people that was confident it was all a ruse so they could have a reason for filming in NM with all these former breaking bad people coming in to play in the final season of Better Call Saul. I couldn't believe it when the trailer dropped and the shit was real. It sounds so out of character or Vince that I was ready to flip flop and out all my faith into something like this being the right move
I feel like this was based on a video game. I'm just really high and that is the best way I can describe it at this point. It seriously feels like he's navigating levels and the people around him are acting like NPC's. This probably should have been left alone lol
I really liked it for the simple fact it was more Breaking Bad. But yea it felt really phoned in. Literally the very first scene TELLS you exactly how the movie ends lmao. I mean nothing was a surprise. From the second the first trailer dropped, everyone suspected the vacuum guy. Boom, vacuum guy is central to the plot. It was cool for what it was tho and the cinematography was top notch. That bird’s eye view of the apartment while Jesse was tearing it apart where they made it look like Pac-Man was one of the dopest shots all year.
Overall, movie didn’t NEED to happen, but I’m also not mad that it did. It didn’t ruin the canon/lore at all.
The pistol draw scene felt kinda forced and out of place tho. It felt like a last minute nod to the fact that the series as a whole is like a pseudo Western. But it was overall pulled off well for what it was.
Also, Todd very clearly being 50 pounds heavier when it’s sposed to be set in the exact same timeframe was hilarious and jarring. They couldn’t have him lose the weight for the role?
ehhhh I don't want to dislike it but it also feels like torture porn. Compared to what my imagination had me ready for this kinda feels like Netflix called and everyone was like
It was a good watch but felt a bit flat as well. The series was so hot when it ended that it just seemed weird to go back and add essentially 2 episodes worth of additional stuff to the ending after so much time. It felt like watching bonus material on a DVD.
Fucking Todd though )
I need a 30 minute TV show of Skinny Pete and Badger shit playing video games and shit talking each other.
It’s funny cause I jus recently seen him looking exactly the same in Black Mirror so it wasn’t AS jarring, but in the Breaking Bad setting, yea have him trim down if it’s sposed to be in the same timeframe smh.

I didn't watch it high but i swear to god i said the same thing.about it feeling like a video game cutscene or them acting like NPCs. It was weird
