I can definitely understand why. Nothing is worse than going out with a bunch of kids and having someone make an ass of themselves by swearing like a sailor. I think the fining thing might be a bit extreme, but maybe it'll teach some people to be a little more respectful of listening ears, especially when those are kids. I got in a fight with this woman on the beach last year because she was dropping the f-bomb left and right around our group of about 10 kids under the age of 8 group. It's just rude and disrespectful in my opinion. I swear, but not around kids.

Id personally don't feel like its wrong to swear in front of kids....now i don't think you should go all into detail about pile driving a chick in front of them on purpose tho.
