it sucks that they finally seem to have put together decent headliners for this and it's not coming even remotely close to us. it's foolish to not have a hard rock show not hit the south in any way

they kinda benefit from the fact that they broke up for so long and the last 3-4 years they were together in the 90's they barely toured due to layne's drug issues. so you have a group of younger music fans that haven't had them shoved down their throats the way nirvana probably was or bored to tears by past-prime output (pearl jam, stp) and the older fans who never had a chance to see them live before.
If they were terrible live with the new singer, I doubt people would be going as crazy over them as they are, even though they'd still go nuts. But he's good and they put on a good show.
Actually, if I have to choose between seeing Black Sabbath and AiC in August, I'll probably chose AiC.

I get that that's why I said I wonder when the bandwagon will die off. They are booking everything right now it seems. I saw them in 09 im satisfied with that
