Code Black: Bomb threat, nuclear attack. Code Blue: Imminent loss of life. Code White: Pediatric emergency. Code Brown: External emergency, weather emergency. Code Gray: Combative person or severe weather. Code Amber: Child missing or a theft or armed robber. Code Green: Combative person with weapons, internal disaster, or an "OK" to proceed. Code Orange: Patient who's health is declining rapidly, or bomb or hazardous waste threat. Code Yellow: Usually used for bomb threats. Code Purple: Child abduction, or when assistance is needed for a patient who is too heavy to transport. Code Pink: Infant or child abduction. Code Silver: Combative person with a weapon

In a lot of hospitals and nursing homes, they will say "paging Dr. Brown" or "paging Dr. Gray" instead of "Code Brown" or "Code Gray." I know they do this in nursing homes quite a bit so the old people don't freak out.
