Welcome to being adults. I used to worry about getting behind on comics. Then I just gave up. There just wasn't enough time. Even before I had kids. I have runs of comics that end around 2005, and about half the comics I bought from 2003 on still remain unread
Once you get to a certain age, its p fun to go back and reread old comics because you forget them over time. I'm in the middle of the X-Men Dark Phoenix saga rn. I read all of it when I was like 12
The only thing that would make me interested in hero books again is if Marvel and DC merged
At this point, they have strayed so far from the heart of almost every major character that it's doing nothing but tarnish legacies. A lot of characters just need to be retired
Ive noticed an interesting trend in comics media and media in general where traditionally ginger characters are now being portrayed as black in new media. Its a little odd they primarily pick gingers to change.

What fucking universe do we live in where Deadpool is making late night talk show appearances. I know Superheroes have been cool for a while now but shit like this still blows my mind sometimes
I actually think the 90s "EXTREME" comic era is coming back. With Deadpool and Cable so popular, and Liefield's properties getting Netflix movies, and with how Marvel's safe and PC era failed, I think we'll get more of the extreme. I mean the 90s X-Men suits are coming back, Eddie Brock is Venom again, Ben Reilly has his own run, and some of the Fantastic 4 variants have the '4' boob window Invisible Girl costume. Not to mention fucking Darkhawk is getting a comic.
And the TMNT extreme era third volume run is coming back and picking up where it left off in TMNT: Urban Legends with IDW

Shoulda had Riri be Rody's neice. Made her the new War Machine following Rody's death, instead of that Iron Heart shit

And now April in the new TMNT show.
The Power Ranger comics have been GOAT. The Shattered Grid storyline is just starting and it’s already fantastic.
Looooooooooooong read.
LONG FUCKING READ lol. A little anticlimactic at the end too, as there is no GOAT at the end.
