What do you guys think of Marvel re-doing/re-visiting these old storylines? Civil War, Secret Wars, and Ultron vs Marvel Zombies all confirmed for 2015
No one is quite sure yet. Ultron vs Zombies will obviously just be another story using the zombie motif, but Marvel hasn't said if Civil War and Secret Wars will be reboots or "part 2" stories. This is the teaser image going around.
The theory is that Marvel is slowly trying to weed out their non film properties from the big storylines. Mainly the Fox owned ones. They just cancelled Fantastic Four and "killed" Wolverine. I know that Secret Wars pic I posted is on the small side, but notice how there are no X-Men or Fantastic Four in there? If they want to make a Civil War film, this also comes into play. If they rewrite the story now in the comics and take out X-Men and Fantastic Four, when the film comes out down the road no one say "Oh where's Reed Richards at?"
They must still be on good terms with Sony then to have Spidey still in them. Interesting theory though. Wouldn't doubt if thats part of it... Probably smart on their end to avoid comic fans (myself included) from going "WTF THEY DIDN'T FOLLOW THE COMIC! WHERE WAS *characters*?"
Also, does that Secret Wars cover have both the male and female Thors?

The Rock is playing Shazam in a solo movie
I know Satan posted it a long time ago, but have you ever listened to Kevin Smith talk about working with WB?
looks dope. Still kinda worries me that Edgar Wright ditched the project though.
That teaser of Batman vs Superman got me hyped as fuck. Not going to lie.
