After Royal Thunder, everyone left. The room was packed for RT. There were about 6 people left when AM started playing. I stuck around for 5-6 songs just because I kinda felt sorry for them
Well Royal Thunder is from there, and it's hard to follow them up anyway, they were awesome. I didn't think TAM was THAT bad, his vocals are definitely an acquired taste though.
Finally, FINALLY I got to see Metallica. I kept saying my body was ready. It was not. Lol these guys fucking killed it, man. It was a blast from start to finish. They sounded great, they played their balls off and it was just such an entertaining experience from start to finish. Everyone I was with had the time of their lives and it feels so damn good to finally scratch this band off my bucket list. Set was pretty cool too, couple neat surprises .
1.) Hardwired 2.) Atlas, Rise 3.) Seek and Destroy 4.) Harvestor Of Sorrow 5.) The Unforgiven 6.) Now That We're Dead 7.) Creeping Death 8.) For Whom The Bell Tolls 9.) Fade To Black 10.) Motorbreath 11.) Fuel 12.) Moth Into Flame 13.) Sad But True 14.) One 15.) Master Of Puppets 16.) Spit Out The Bone 17.) Nothing Else Matters 18.) Enter Sandman
3 from End of Heartache and 2 from Daylight Dies isn't egregious. They're just playing more of the Jesse stuff from the last two albums as opposed to AOJB. Though they could get rid of Holy Diver and I wouldn't miss it.
