I could never afford it. I only got tha close that year because SOAD was going on hiatus for a while. Other two shows I got pit to was Mayhem 08 and 09...and 08 was pure luck because I got them at the venue around 2 or 3 pm and only got em cuz they were 80. I think Ozzfest's lawn tickets were around 25 or 30 bucks, I can't remember

Oh wow that isn't bad for pit. Lawn tickets should be cheap, though I can't say because my first and last lawn ticket was at freefest!

For me..Texas is a place. It's warmer, has nicer weather, no one knows how to drive in rain so people don't want to go anywhere when it rains which drives me nuts, there's lots of hispanics, and it's flat. That's my experience )

And ta think lightning storms would've made it all the more epic. As long as the their is enough cover for the band I guess.
