Anthrax was fun. Megadeth was tight and Dave sounded great. Slayer was brutal and I had to watch my back with the pit (my friend Alex got a concussion) and Metallica was perfect.

Oh that's great to hear about Dave. For a while I thought he'd lost his voice. Megadeth my all time favorite. But Metallica is literally like 1 point behind them in greatness. Slayer I can always count on for brutality, and Anthrax seems like great fun. =D> you're seriously the luckiest person I know!
There are other people on here that went, so yeah. But it was badass and I would totally go again, though not alone. It's not a show to go to alone, plus they held it in a rough area, Yankee Stadium.

Oh I figured some of the people here went, you're just the only one to confirm it that I know of lol. Is Yankee Stadium in a sketchy part of NYC? Ugh! That crowd! Those lasorz! =P~ so awesome! What song were they performing?
COLOR OUR WORLD BLACKENED! \m/ \m/ That is literally my all time favorite Metallica song! So epic! Ugh I kick myself in the nutz for being able to pull off Ozzfest Texas but, not pull this off.
I didn't enter the pit alone ) Slayer pit alone is a stupid idea. My brother wanted floor too, but he didn't pay for his ticket, so he couldn't bitch. For me, it was either floor or no-go.

) that's awesome. I'm exactly the same way! When it comes to shows like that it should be mandatory to be in the pit. Otherwise it just isn't as fun. By the way I don't mean THE PIT I mean general floor area.
Sometimes the craziness happens on the lawn, even compared to the inside pit...like the Alice In Chains mud pit that our lawn had going once it started to rain. Lawn can be quite fun if you're in a group.

Alice In Chains has a pit? :-)) now that's new. Never thought their music was the moshing type. That does sound pretty fun. I love it when it rains at concerts. Cools you off and everyone's all wet :>
