According to the Czech news portal iDNES.cz, the police has completed its investigation of LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe related to the death of a fan in Prague two years ago and has sent the case file to the prosecutor with a recommendation that Blythe be indicted and ordered to return to the Czech Republic to stand trial. The prosecutor will spend the next couple of weeks studying the case before making a determination on the singer's potential criminal liability. A spokesperson for the the Municipal Public Prosecutor's Office in Prague, Štepánka Zenklová, has said that a decision as to whether to file criminal charges will likely be made before the end of November.
Blythe is facing the possibility of conviction and a long-term jail sentence after a 2010 incident in which a fan attending a LAMB OF GOD show died almost a month later, allegedly from injuries sustained when he was thrown off the stage. Blythe's predicament has galvanized the heavy rock community, with artists across the hard rock genre pledging their support
i have this feeling that system don't want any part of mayhem. this is based mostly from the interviews i've read. they're not into the summer metal festivals, so they'll prolly require a ton of money
There arent very many bands big enough to headline mayhem fest that arent repeats.. soad, rammstein, metallica.. but those bands are "way too big" i guess we'll see
