Volbeat and Testament are a nice start. The Sword, Bison B.C., High on Fire, Intronaut, and Royal Thunder are some sludgy bands that I think would have a decent shot at the fest and probably roll-over well with the crowd. And they all have new shit and are coming out with new shit soon. Allegaeon, Revocation, Sylosis and Gojira, are some bands on the thrash/death/"extreme" side of the spectrum that I think would do well on the festival. More than anything though, I'm tired of repeat bands all the fucking time. I just want something that's fresh to the festival that isn't some deathcore/metalcore/djentcore bullshit.
They did. And when they did I was really tempting buying a lawn ticket and just going for Anthrax and High on Fire. I'd enjoy AILD as well. But then Matt Pike went to rehab and I was no longer interested.
I'd love to see Intronaut, The Sword, Gojira and Revocation there, the lineup i posted was just what will *probably* happen.
Well you didn't go a great job because bands like Wall of Jericho, DevilDriver, and Bleeding Through have been less than relevant in the bast few years. And Dethklok doesn't have the selling power you might think. I've come to realize that recently. I mean, the Dethklok/ATM/MFH tour is coming to the same venue Sleep played at in Oakland. Granted Sleep are home town heroes in the bay, but Dethklok, ATM, and MFH are definitely a whole lot more popular than Sleep.

Devildriver has at least been pretty active as of late. Bleeding Through hasn't done anything in a good while and what fucking happened to Walls Of Jericho??? They're one of my favorite hardcore bands.
They've been busy, but nobody is really paying attention to DevilDriver. They're last album was met with pretty poor reception from the places I checked out. And they're supporting Gwar on tour. They're were more popular than Gwar in like 2007 such.
"According to a post by vocalist Candace Kucsulain on the band's official Myspace, Walls of Jericho is on a break and she has been working on a side-project called The Beautifuls with her husband, Death Before Dishonor guitarist Frankie. On August 1, 2011, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Patsy. Additionally, drummer Dustin Schoenhofer has been touring with Bury Your Dead. Walls of Jericho will be part of the European Persistence Tour, joining Terror, Suicidal Tendencies, Biohazard and others. On August 24, 2012, Candace confirmed, that band currently working on new material."
