i think it's all about location in terms of crowds. the only time i've seen an un-packed mayhem fest was last year when i went to the scranton, pa date. i've seen 3 other mayhem fests and they were all packed. 2 in holmdel, nj and 1 in long island, ny. there's a reason why the mid atlantic/new england regions gets so many dates. there's literally 5 dates that are 2.5 hours or closer to me (holmdel, scranton, camden, saratoga springs, and hartford)

ticket prices have been the same for me since mayhem fest began in '08
Not here. Before pit was 55.50. Now it's 80. I don't know how much lawn used to be since all I would get was pit because it was so cheap.
And Zombie isn't the issue, it's them getting the same bitches every year to every other year. If they don't change what they're doing soon there won't be a Mayhem anymore
wow really? it's always been $55 at the three different venues i've been to. one of them doesn't have a pit section so it's $55 for the closest seats (minus the VIPs). i got pit for scranton last year and it was also $55.

Considering they already have a couple bands that have played the fest 3 times in the 6 years has been around is pitiful imo. What they need is more diversity in the bands they get and new bands that they haven't booked yet. Sadly I don't see this happening and will lead to it's eventual demise.
