I need to move somewhere that gets more snow. my city ain't cuttin it
im dying to go to CO, UT, WY, or whistler/blackcomb in canada. my home mountain is a massive elevation of 1,480 feet with a 1,040 foot vertical drop lol. it gets an average of 65 inches of snow a year lol. one good thing is all the trails have lights so they close at 10 PM. there is literally no such thing as powder on that mountain. the snow quality always sucks. driving just 1.5 or 2 hours north into upstate NY is a HUGE difference in snow quality. plus they actually have powder on their mountains especially in the woods.

the probably when it snows here it never stays. within a few days it usually melts. the days vary from 40-50 degrees to 10-20-30 degrees and the nights are usually consistantly cold so sometimes the snow on the mountain starts to melt during the day and freezes during the night making for some really crappy conditions. most of the snow on the mountain is man made

i wish they would cut new trails because South and Bear Peak were converted to all parks a couple years ago.
