You would notice it a lot more if you were into park riding. When my new board comes in I'll show you the changes they have made in boards. I have an 06 destroyer and the new one is a 2012 destroyer but they are completely different. I'm interested to see how it rides with how different it is.

burton's boards are made in china anyway. i lost respect for burton (snowboard company, not necessarily jake) when they decided to design a binding setup on their boards that is pretty much only compatible with the bindings that they make.

I don't know if you can see it or not but there is writing on the board the writing is actual death row letters from inmates killed in the chair. That chair is the most used in history and has killed 500+

A big part of it was that when I learned to board, I learned on a narrow little 148 K2 that we refer to as "the popsicle stick" After learning on that board, every thing else rides like a Cadillac. I'm sure your new board might be a little faster and turn a little better than the old one because it's new, but it isn't like they are reinventing the wheel every year.
