Rex gave me an idea for conversation.. What exactly constitutes professionalism while performing? How do each of you define it? I hear that tossed around a lot and I understand its a broad concept. Just curious.
Seeing this thread reminds me of something. My cousin in LA was giving me some of her old band shirts a few years ago. I got ones from NIN, L7 and A Perfect Circle. Then she got out this Tool one and goes "To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm ready to part with this one..." I look at it.

well to me tool exactly defines that....They go out and play there music to an exact to of the way its supposed to be....They don't have to say all kinds of crazy shit to get the crowd into it they just have to go out and jam....the sound is mixed perfectly to where you can hear maynard...but yet the acoustics are very loud yet you don't walk away with a headache or really even your ears ringing...stuff like that

setlist from the rivers edge music festival...solid set with the time limits they were given...and about what you should expect...would have liked to been there just to see parabola lol
