There is no replacing Tony Iommi in Black Sabbath. For all intents & purposes he is Sabbath. Same thing with Dimebag being replaced in Pantera. This replacement garbage comes from people who cannot be true fans of those bands. In theory, Zakk Wylde replacing Iommi or Dimebag would be the equivelant of Herman Li replacing Zakk in BLS. No matter how good the replacement can play it will never, ever come close to being the same. If that post don't get a few "Likes" I don't know what will.
Ozzfest was done to promote new artists & Black Sabbath/Ozzy. Live Nation didn't resign cause Ozzy was missing too many shows and wanted a more modern festival... Mayhem Fest.

as the founder of mayhemsaid in his statement only 1 second stage this year which will be almost as large as mainstage longer set times thats why there are fewer bands this year. according to a rockstar rep the set times are 2hrs for the knot an hr 45 for slayer an hr and a hlf for motorhead and 45 min for rotating spots. also anthrax is expected to do an hr 45 headline set on second stage so i wouldnt count on another stage rumor through rockstar is jager band for westcoast dates is goatwhore for east coast dates its mushroomhead hope that works for ya
Some guy posted this on the official. I don't mean to be Gullible Garry, but if this is true, meaning Anthrax gets an hour and 45 minutes and High on Fire gets over half an hour, I'll go.
