SOAD has been rumored (unlikely). And so have other big name. What Mayhem is doing is either having longer sets or saving money for something. And that something could be a bigger band.

I think it'll be Motorhead though.

Considering that SOAD sold out the venues that Mayhem is held at, I'd assume they'd be too expensive for Mayhem.

I know, they always turn down Mayhem since Mayhem can't pay enough. Mayhem might be saving now though, I don't know. And yeah, SOAD would go after Slipknot if they were on Mayhem.

That's because they've been on a break since 2006. They headlined Ozzfest..if Mayhem couldn't afford them as a headliner then...that would be sad

They're also rumored for Ozzfest, but not sure if Ozzfest will happen since Tommy got sick.

Ozzfest doesn't need Black Sabbath to go on. It would help the tour greatly but it wouldn't stop it from happening if they wanted it to. I miss Ozzfest and the way the tour used to be. After 2007 they stopped giving a fuck and pissed pretty much everyone off

Ozzfest could get back on track if Black Sabbath was on it. Would draw so many people.
