The original movies dont hold up as well without the metal music imo. Something about them is just off. And unfortunately unless you have a VHS tape or can find a VHS rip, they all have the original japanese soundtracks now.
Cooler's Revenge and History of Trunks are still my two tops though for the classic movies.

So I've been interested in picking up DBZ on DVD or bluray, but I keep hearing the remaster quality are all garbage. Even the new set's picture is blurry and washy looking. Im sad I missed out on the Dragon Box Set, because that was in the original 4:3 aspect ratio and wasnt digitally altered...
But Im curious if the movies are affected the same way, or if the movie-pack sets, or two-pack steelbooks are legit quality... Anyone know?

I have the orange bricks. People bitch about then but their good. Steel book movies are legit though .
