For all you people saying the ride operator shouldn't have let him on; I feel like I would have a hard time telling a disabled veteren that he can't ride this rollercoaster. Especially after he's faught in Iraq and had his legs blown off.
In reality should he have not rode that rollercoaster? Yes. But could you be that person to tell him no?
Death is not the worst of evils.
You can't be down, when you're always high.
I find this sad and interesting. Rides that have ejector air I could easily see someone coming out that has no legs. I think someone mentioned it to how tall was he after losing his legs this should have come into play with the ride operator. I don't really see anyone to blame, just an unfortunate accident.
On a side note I rode windseeker for the first time yesterday. It's essentially a 300 foot tall swing set. The way the lap bar is on it when they were testing the ride the plastic water filler dummies were flying off of it because they don't have legs or arms to keep them in. This along with something else delayed the ride at 3 of the parks it opened at for over a month
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
"These rules require that riders have both legs, because the safety devices restrain the legs, shins, and lap to hold the rider safely in the ride's car."
