    I INSIST that you IMMEDIATELY download Chuck Schuldiner very awesomely epic entry into progressive metal. Yeah he is best known for Death because it defines a whole genre... But Control Denied is fucking dope shit. get it... now.

    Also not to be a prick, but even though i'm a big fan of the song, any chance you can get DreamTheater to pick a diff DT song then Octavium? As that song is 25 min long
    I can change it if u want, I just think it's an amazing song. Since it encompasses many musical styles I figured people wouldn't hate on it as much.
    If you use itunes, you can shorten the song, to a point where once all the main instruments come in.

    i would not listen any song over 10 minutes minutes on this list. only songs i can stand over that mark are bands i already know i like. even then its tough sometimes, like moonsorrow's 30 minute song, i've only finished that once... doubt i'll do it again

    Exactly. Wouldn't the point be like having a "taste" of everyone's music interests on here? I think having that many songs that are that long, is just kind of overkill. Unless i'm missing the point of the whole thing.....

    then they should of broken it up. a song that long needs to flow naturally throughout its entirety
