I apologize if this has appeared anywhere else on here, but I don't have the time to read every thread.
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall has decided (for reasons known only to him), to share his thoughts on the killing of the worlds most notorious terrorist.
When the NFL lockout ends, Rashard Mendenhall may have to find a rec league in Pakistan to find his next job.
Mendenhall, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ running back, has suffered a meltdown on Twitter, all but defending Osama Bin Laden at a time when most of the rest of the world is celebrating his death.
While we can’t confirm
@R_Mendenhall that it is actually Mendenhall Tweeting. But it is a “verified” account, he is being followed by several teammates and there’s no report of his account being hacked.
So how do you explain these Tweets?
– 5:29 p.m.: “What kind of person celebrates death? It’s amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We’ve only heard one side…”
– 5:37 p.m.: “We’ll never know what really happened. I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style”
–6:28 p.m.: “For those of you who said you want to see Bin Laden burn in hell and piss on his ashes, I ask how would God feel about your heart?”
–6:29 p.m.: “There is not an ignorant bone in my body. I just encourage you to #think”
It’s certainly acceptable to debate American foreign policy decisions. But this is way over the line given Bin Laden’s well-chronicled terrorist activities, particularly the 9/11 attacks. The irony here is that because there’s a lockout, no Steelers’ employee (including general manager or coach) can even have contact with Mendenhall.
In his Twitter profile, Mendenhall describes himself as: “Conversationalist and Professional Athlete.”
Well, he just started a conversation. But this is one he’s going to lose.

Trolling?
I swear football players are the dumbest people in the world.
so let me recap... He isnt all that trustful of the gov and has seen the shows that provide science as to why the plane shouldnt have brought down the tower. Okay. I saw that too and agree it was a little convincing. Do I believe it? Nah... I'll go with the gov's version but wouldnt be surprised if there was some truth to a inside job demolition theory.
additionally he doesn't think people should celebrate another's death? okay. probably for the best from a karma perspective.
that is all he was really saying. not that big of a deal IMHO.
there is absolutely, 100% no chance they could have rigged 2 building like the WTC to blow perfectly like that while they conducted business as usual without someone taking notice
We've only heard one side? How can you HATE a man? Oh Idk maybe because Al Qaeda took credit for the attack on 9/11 perhaps?
Yeah I think this guy deserves all the hate he's getting. Fuck off Mendenhall.
