Fundamental problems here, man. Metal was never about a specific type of lifestyle, it was always defined by the music.
And honestly, there's just so much to be looked down upon in Metal. First of all, extreme hypocrisy. So much shit talked on Scenie bands for dressing pretty, yet they worship bands that dress up like faggot ass clowns with corpse paint, like that's any better. At least those Scenie bands legitimately dress like that, you'd catch them on the street dressed exactly like that. Yea, you'd really see Abbath walking down the street dressed like a fucking clown, right? No. So if anything, Metal has even MORE of an image.
Also, it's just silly. Come on, it has fucking genres called "PornoGrind" "Hyper Violence" "GoreGrind" among other retarded subgenres that actually take themselves seriously. I don't see how a Metalhead can hate on Hip Hop when Metal has pointless silly shit like that. The most silly that Hip Hop gets is bragging about money, ice, and bitches. And then stupid dance shit like Soulja Boy.
Last thing, I don't know how Metalheads can sit and say Hip Hop is noise, when most Metal, namely Thrash, Black, and Death, is the most bland genre out there, with no structure. All 3 genres are always the same shit, different name, with a few diamonds in the rough here and there. Sorry, but I like my albums to have individual tracks that each sound different, instead of the same song 10 times over with nothing but blasts and tremolo picking. Behemoth is one of the very few Death Metal bands that make every song sound different and unique, as well as giving them amazing structure, great choruses, and overall catchiness. Honestly, the only truly original genre in Metal, IMO, is Folk Metal, and even that's pushing it, because a lot of the Folk bands sound way too similar.

That's one small genre that very few bands play, and it's terrible. It's original, but in an extremely fucking overdone way.
Not terrible, very artistic and hard to understand, but not terrible. It is a pretty big genre too, on par with genres such as GoreGrind, Pornogrind, and Powerviolence, which are mentioned in your post.
I also hate the "Hip Hop takes no talent/doesn't use real instruments." argument. Metal only takes a certain level of fucking talent too. It only takes so much skill to blast and play fast double bass. As well as play tremolo riffs.
Do people forget that Pianos/Synthesizers/Keyboards and Drums are also real instruments too? Just because it doesn't use Guitars in most cases, doesn't mean shit.

Sigh's "Scenes From Hell." Or Scenes OF Hell, whatever the fuck it's called, was one of the most terrible albums I've ever heard. It was different and odd just to be different and odd, and they overdid the fuck out of it.
