I don't think this is a metal forum at all, a majority of the "metal" here is metalcore, which isn't really metal.

Nu-Metal isn't metal either, and I like that genre. Metalcore isn't metal, certain bands from that genre are, but a large majority aren't.

This is another reason I've fallen away from Metal. I'm sick of THIS IS METAL, NO THIS IS.
This doesn't happen in Hip Hop. If it's Hip Hop, it's fucking Hip Hop, and it's either GOOD Hip Hop, or BAD Hip Hop. That's about the only "subgenres" in Hip Hop.
Oh sorry, I forgot about Ambient Progressive Blackened Technical Hip Hop. But that's not true Hip Hop, it's Rock.
