I just listened to this kinda out of curiosity and it's surprisingly not bad. It's the best thing any of these artists have done since the 90s. They sound so much better playing songs written for B-Real and Chuck to rap over than having them trying to shout the old RATM songs like Zach
I just really appreciate that in a time when all metal guys are moving past all the growling to go to clean vocals, Patton at damn near 50, who has cleans all day, went the other way and just cranked it up another notch or two instead.
Mike did Black Flag's 'Six Pack' on the West Memphis 3 benefit Henry Rollins put together and it sounded a lot like Dead Cross. I'm so happy he finally got an entire album of material out like that
