    If you're referning to rappers sampling and stuff, they did that in the 80's and 90's
    I should have put pop in there somewhere in the second sentence. Lemma just resay the whole thing. The rock scene back then was great and a lot of good music came out of it. Same goes for the pop scene too, as a lot of the "pop" music was also more rock-like. Now rock music fucking blows dick (Nickelback, ect) and a lot sound alike. Pop music has all gone techo, electronic, autotune, stupid shit and rappers sample other peoples shit. I'll take the 90's rock/pop over the last decade. Not sure what I'd pick for metal though
