No it shouldn't. I'm sure you listen to at least one artist that does not perform live. The first person to come to my mind is Vargy Vikernes. Are you saying that Varg does not deserve to earn a living for the wonderful music he shares to us? How dare you.
That being said, I download pretty much all my music. I do buy records quite often, and will buy a band's new album if I'm really excited about it, because you should support the artists you love. However, I download because I can't afford all of it, plain and simple. Music is the absolute best thing in the world and it's stupid to not listen to as much of that fantastic shit as you can.
i agree with jor. i download cuz i would never even be able to afford even a 20th of the albums i download and i would have no money to go to shows to support bands on the road

Any non-keyboard instruments in that band are performed by guest musicians.
