i've had to learn to accept that people like that shit now. it's kind of a new trend to me. when i was a teenager, we always laughed at bands that sounded like that.

Um, King Diamond, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, and Rush aren't new at all.

Um, King Diamond, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, and Rush aren't new at all.

i can't stand any of those bands. they were the old, silly codgers when i got into music.

i saw dio with a friend in 2001 or 2002 and we just walked into the club for free because nobody was there. it wasn't until the darkness and sum 41 came out with their faux-metal that people started listening to those style bands again.
