the shining is 10 times better than anything star wars
Why do I even need to say this: "In What way is it better". Im cool with people having differing opinions, however it'd be nice if people offered up some sort of reason for their opinion.
I agree the Shining is a good movie. It is a classic that everyone should see (Much like the Graduate). However the plot is slow to develop, and outside of Jack, the acting was pretty sub par typical for movies as old as that one.
I dont think Star Wars is the greatest ever, but Star Wars V was really a major step forward in film making. It's a movie that I almost consider the Led Zeppelin of movies... Great plot, good characters, and amazing special effects that had never been done before.
