dude EVERYTHING. you corny LOTR nerds just cant see that fact
The lyrics are a joke, the singer is embarrasing. its seriously some of the lamest stuff i have ever heard.
You know he does have a point about the Colonel. I never trusted the Colonel. Slaves cooked that chicken. Ain't no white man know anything about herbs and spices and giblets. 8-X {Upload|6832}
Totally true for young kids who werent there, and will never know what metal can be.
It wouldn't have mattered if I was there though. That's what nobody gets. And you fucks are talking like Pantera is godly
yes, it would have mattered. It would completely change your thoughts on the band if you were there and saw what they were doing. In the United States, metal was almost dead at that time... Grunge had saturated almost everything! You didnt have the internet to feed your thirst for underground bands, and good music filter in the US slowly. And what Pantera did at their shows was so fucking crazy that even if you didnt like the music you had to appreciate what you were witnessing. I remember thinking at the the time.. "Jesus! I can't believe they just did that shit.... That wont ever happen again." and you know what? It hasn't.
Nah, it wouldn't have changed. I respect what they did in the 90's but I don't like listening to them. I might have gone to a show or two if they came around. Which I was actually going to go one...happy I didn't though because I would have seen murders happen. I just don't like their sound overall. I even say with confidence I wouldn't have liked them then either. My brother didn't even listen to them. He listened to shit like Slayer, Morbid Angel, ect. I get what they did for metal in the 90's, and kudo's to them. Does not make them godly nor do they need to be held so high up in my opinion.
Now..I'll listen to floods before I fall asleep and review it here for George
Listened to Floods. I really don't know why people love it so much. It seems like it's repeat riffs the whole song besides the solo. I can't even give a long review of it because to me, there isn't much to review. It's an ok song at best <_>
Dimebag isn't the best guitar player ever, but he's not overrated. He deserves all the credit he gets. He has his own style and made it legendary, his style is original and Pantera rose to the top through the grunge scene. They kept it metal. I had the luxury of seeing him live and he was terrific. If you haven't seen him live, its hard for you to judge. He is a great guitar player.
he and Pantera would not be as famous as they are if he didn't pull an Abe Lincoln
even if this was a troll, you should be thrown out of the metal community. I would love to see what happens if you yelled this at the top of your lungs to any metal concert you would go too. I'd be throwing fists, and I dont think Id be alone.

this is wrong, just wrong. the song is not the same riff over and over again. I asked you to review the song for me, this is review is not accurate. theres about 8 different riffs in this song. i dont know how it would be trouble for you to review such a diverse song? there so many different styles of music in this one song. I can understand if you personally don't like it, just give me real reason why. but it is just a flase untrue statement that it is one riff the entire song and thats a bad excuse to not be able to review it. it's a fact that this song isnt one riff over and over again.
