well my fav genre of metal is stoner metl and i didnt like red fang at all on first listen, will maybe give them a second try but i wont even see them at mayhem. i will still be drinkin in the parking lot prob till machine fucking head comes on
my problem with red fang being on the bill has nothing to do with their music at all. The fact they can't bill any higher than 4th on a tour of bands that really aren't that popular to begin with makes me wonder whos dick they sucked to get on it.
just go back and look at all the nobodies ozzfest had throughout the years that eventually turned into really popular bands, i'm not saying thats gonna happen to red fang, and i could give 0 fucks either way. but i'm glad theyre throwing in some lesser known bands and not all the radio friendly popular mainstram shit. you guys are mad about redfang the opening band? look at the fail headliners for christs sake :-))

Mayhem is a platform to give bands on the verge the final push to breakthrough into headlining material. not take a fucking nobody and make them semi popular, Red Fang will never get into headlining material. this is not What Lyman said verbatim but its the general idea he portrayed
