you can't tell shit from a video
I'm not debating they still put on a good live show, however, compare (and watch the whole way through):

sure the band is a little different on stage cause of the age and wear and tear on there bodies....but there overall performance isn't that far off

iv seen them in both eras....on some nights they still touch that magic they had...and that night at the palace was one of them...corey sounded great and so did the band...iv never left a slipknot show and say hmm that was boring or eh i didn't have fun
Saw them at Mayhem 08 and at their headlining show at MSG.

The pits were insane at Mayhem, but the overall show was WAY better at MSG.

The band just went all out that night. Clown going into the crowd, Chris going on top of the rail and singing Get This with the crowd. Clown literallly pissing on stage at one point, as well as the overall performance from the band. They nailed every song. Just awesome the whole show. And Corey was sick that night as well but he nailed it.

What made it even more awesome was at the end of the show the band stayed on stage for an extra 5 minutes just bowing and waving to the crowd and hugging each other because they finally felt that they made it. Because it was Madison Square Garden. Just incredible. Awesome show. Just awesome. Being on the rail for it made it that much better as well.
