I'm playing Ruby right now. Should I go with Sharpedo or Walrein?
If you need a fast Pokemon who can take out Pokemon really quickly and don't care much for defense, Sharpedo is the way to go. Sharpedo is my fave in that generation along with Swampert.

I usually use pokemon with high speed and high attack/Sp. attack. But I like Walrein type combination better than Sharpedo's.

I see. I'm still far away from beating the game, I only have five badges. Marc helped me figure out the GTS last night, so I've been looking for someone trading a Tepig and Snivy. :-W
I just got my 6th badge last night. My son has started calling me "the greatest pokemon trainer ever" instead of "dad". it is funny.

What is even more funny, is that honestly I hate this game. Seriously, I keep dying for it to be over cause it goes on-and-on. I'll say I like Team Plasma's logo (that is cool) but other then that it is the same game as all the others before it with just different guys. If only my kids werent so into it, then I'd be playing something a little more challenging.
Does anyone have a flash cart and play "The New Super Mario Bros 3"?

Last night I got 5 "experience Shares" in Pokemon Black. Sweet! Now I will have 6 dope pokemon on my team. (My team leader is holding the "lucky egg" to get double the points.)
^^^ They get such little experience that it's not worth it. I had a Lucky Egg on my lead Pokemon, and then 2 Exp. Shares on 2 other Pokemon and they didn't get shit. Dividing it between 6 will be even worse.

There is actually something funky going on with this combo.... Right now my main pokemon are around level 45. If I use one experience share and one lucky egg and beat some guy (I'm bad with names cause I am not really into this) I will get say 400 up'd experience points because of the lucky egg, and the experience share gets me like 200 to the other pokemon.
Anyways, If I use two experience shares except give one of them to a really shitty like level 5 pokemon and then I beat the exact same guy above... then my main pokemon gets like 1400 up'd experience points and the level 5 gets like 1600 experience points (because he is so weak) and then my other pokemon gets like 400 experience points.
I can't figure out what is happening here... but it seems if I keep a shitty pokemon in my party, then all the rest benefit from that.
No... That's odd. I've never experienced that. I've given an Exp. Share to a low level Pokemon, but it gives them the same amount of experience, they just level up faster because it takes less XP for lower levels to level up.

Weird. I wonder if it is an artifact of playing a ripped game? Perhaps in removing the copy protection it accidentally caused some sort of glitch in the way experience points are added. I know when it was first ripped, people would get no experience for battles. They were able to "fix" that but perhaps by fixing it they removed another part of a barrier in the code that would prevent a loop hole I am exploiting?
You should try it just to make sure. I was using a level 45 of the grass guy you can pick to start out with (experience share) with the level 45 Panpour (evolved though) holding the "lucky egg" and he was in the lead... And then I gave another experience share to some level 5. It was very obvious that my Panpour was getting 3-4 times the experience when I gave the second experience share to a level 5. and the level 5 would be given so much more experience then my other level 45 grass dude.
That's most likely it, the ripped versions have so many glitches. Part of why I only play the real ones. But yea, I'd help you out and try it myself, but I only have 2 Exp. Shares, and I'm pretty sure that's all you can get in the real game.

No... you could get more by trading people.
But you only need to experience shares to try it. 1. Use two high experience pokemon, one with experience share, one with lucky egg. Lucky egg should be in the lead and the only one winning the battle. fight some wild pokemon and write down the experience both receive. 2. give your second experience share to a level 5 pokemon you hopefully still have in your box. Fight the same wild pokemon, and record the experience you receive.
I am saying in #2, your main pokemon will get a a lot more experience then in #1.

Any idea why this is or what I am talking about?
