Wade Michael Page, the suspect in the Sickh temple shooting rampage that left six people dead yesterday in Wisconsin, was reportedly a member of a "racist white-power band." Page, 40, was shot to death by police responding to the incident.
Page played guitar and sang for self-described "hardcore/metal/punk" band End Apathy.
Mark Potak, a senior fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center had the following to say about Page and his band to the New York Times:
"This guy was in the thick of the white supremacist music scene and, in fact, played with some of the best known racist bands in the country. The music that comes from these bands is incredibly volent and it talks about murdering Jews, black people, gay people and a whole host of other enemies. It is music that could not be sold over the counter around the country."

Power Trip and Modern Pain ruled tonight! It was packed and got pretty wild in the record store so it got called a little early. Ran into some friends of mine whom I have not seen sine May, and I met Alex's friend Jon.

He seems like a lot of fun. He was talking about how he's going off to Slaughter By the Water in SF for Exodus... then I talked about how I traveled for Maiden this year. Apparently he won two tickets and is moving back to ASU the day before. That blows
yeah theyre really unique! Their style is different, more like Genehha but with clean vocals sometimes and more sludgier. Theyre playing sat i think i cant wait to see them!

That son of a bitch. But yeah he'll be here in a couple days. Was the show good?
It was crazy as is any Power Trip show. They're so much fun live at small places like that because they're always packed.
