what happened: US-"Hardcore"band TRAPPED UNDER ICE played a show and a kid who loved the band jumped over the singer (aka pile-on / stagedive) so he could sing-a-long, they both fell down the stage (absolutely no harm to the kid NOR the singer because of this), the singer then hit the kid two times in the face, the kid in defense not really knowing what the fuck was going on hit back, then chaos ensued, another member of the band left the stage and together with his singer started severly beating and stomping the kid resulting in a broken jaw that needed surgery. back on stage the singer says "i'm not a fucking superhero, don't jump on me, don't you fucking hit me" well this is BULLSHIT because if you are into Hardcore you know that singers get jumped on ALL THE TIME by enthusiastic fans. and the "Don't fucking hit me" shit, well on the video you can clearly see that the singer hits the kid first!!!
it's a fucking hardcore show, I never seen a singer of a band act like this. usually they egg the crowd on for more stagedives... this is some severe bulsshit to the HC community. people arent gonna let this shit go. he acted like a straight bitch. he went againsts what the entire scene believes in, they just ruined their reputation...
I don't agree with what they did at all but you have to understand the mentality of a straight edge or hardcore hand they will defend their brothers to the end and if they thought the kid was trying to fight him then the other is going to jump in. It's a misunderstanding that got real bad.

Yeah the kid and the singer should have known that pretty much anything can go down at a hardcore show especially with all of the stagedivers, etc.

did you see the video? the singer jumped in the crowd and started hitting this kid, it seemed for no apartent reason. the kid jumped into him while stagediving, and he attacked him then acted like a bitch talking shit on the mic afterwards... this was uncalled for, the kid got attacked, noone was fighting. this is bullshit and this band is not real hardcore if this is how they act. I am dissapointed, i really liked this band, but fuck that shit... he sucker punched a fan!!! theyre done.

I already hear everyones boycotting their set and going outside or sitting down while they play. i wouldnt be surprised if theyre off the tour before it even starts...

Well I'll be non-conformist and watch their set! Though I am appauled at what he did, I still want to see them live.
What they did is everything against what hardcore is trying to preach. Hardcore is supposed to be a place where people can go and fit in and take their aggression out in a positive way and meet lifelong friends and all move together in the same direction looking out for one another and being their for your families and taking care of your responsibilities. what he did goes against everyting TUI has preached and basically shows they are pozers to the scene. The kid was having fun and the singer attacks him for no reason, thats jus bullshit. They will not last.
I am dissapointed, I really dig this band, I just didn't know they were like that. Everytime I hear them I will think of that shit, he acted just like Axl Rose or some shit, what makes him think he's better than anyone else. It's just bullshit.

If he makes a sincere apology, I guess maybe after time it might be let go, but I think they put a hurting on their reputation with this shit. Even if he was mad, he shouldn't have attacked a fan.
