    Perry Strickland's fills on Oppressing The Masses are awesome.

    I love both Sandoval and Harris' techniques for blasts. The old Napalm songs do not have the same intensity with the current guy playing them.

    Hellhammer's overtriggered drumming is just ridiculous and I love it.

    The others don't need justifying.

    jayface me all u want but having a good drummer deosnt realy affect how good yur band is really at all... i know great bands with mediocre drummers and shitty bands with pretty awesome drummers...if the music aint good the drummer means nuthin

    I think Bill Bruford and Keith Moon deserve mentions here.
    They would, except neither are metal, and one of them died over 30 years ago.

    Hard Rock though for sure, at least in the case of Keith Moon.

    Bruford is a maybe there, but I think he drummed for King Crimson for a short time which would make him fit.
