A match in Mexico (Torreon) was interrupted today when gunfire broke out outside/inside of the stadium. The match was suspended of course; and people did their best to protect themselves and leave the field.
Basically what the commentators say at first is that they dont know whats going on until they realize that its gunfire.... and then they go on a rant on what a shitty situation the country is in; that the entire nation is a hostage to drug cartel violence (and violence in general)...... the stadium is in a region of Mexico that is plague very badly with cartels..... and they just go on about how sad the whole situation is; about the women, children who now cant even go watch football matches.... etc
so far nothing official has been announced.... but there's saying that there were no civilian injuries; and just 1 law enforcement officer was injured.
ManU wins it 3-0. I'm not surprised that ManU won, I am just dissapointed that Tottenham didn't put up a better fight. I guess it would be pretty hard to focus for Tottenham with all the riots that occurred.
they looked entirely out of shape.... the score could have easily been 5 or 6 - 0. The spurs' keeper had himself one hell of a game.
Also.... Man U had one hell of a transfer market; Phil Jones played beastly, Welbeck tore it up in front too (chicharito better watch out or he'll lose his spot).
