I can only go by familiarity. I'm familiar w/ Wintersun and have 2 of their albums and like them. Don't have anything by Buckethead, and have barely heard anything. Maybe that's my fault, but I stand by my pick.

buckethead's guitar skills are better then anything wintersun has done combined. i would rather listen to BH tear up a guitar all day then wintersun. they dont suck, they just dont compare to buckethead <_>

wintersun is not better then buckethead. i stick by my story... and no, i know going into this that my bands have no shot at winning against the more well known mainstream type stuff. doesnt mean i cant stand up for what i believe. I mean Shitty asshole stank sucking vomit Korn won the first round ever over The Red Chord, so after that I knew i was dooomed. I just do this for fun, i mean you said you never listened to buckethead, i want to spread the word then cause buckethead rulez and you'll spend hrs of your life chillaxin to buckedhead drinking some brews, i'm just tryna help a brother out... get into BH, you'll love hime.... relax playa, take a xanny...

Get the albums Crime Slunk Scene, Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot, Colma, and Pepper's Ghost. Oh, and Monsters & Robots.
