Wearing a shirt for the band not playing. I always look for someone wearing the same shirt as me. If I don't see one, I feel accomplished. Coming back from shows in Detroit, we stop at Denny's. It's fun because there's almost always people from the show there. Or creepy people who read the paper and drink coffee at 1am
It's just a preference and I go against it from time to time. I only like it because I think it's cool to walk around and see other peoples shirts from shows that they've been to and sometimes it starts a conversation. On the other hand, at shows like Maiden, it's cool to see all the Maiden tours that other people have been too.

my shirt last caused a pretty long convo with a band since they were good friends with them

The "garbage-chic" look is just an act.

its ridiculous.... like wearing a sports jersey to a game; but it cant be of either of the teams that are playing
dude good thing you wore that slayer shirt to the slayer show or else i wouldnt of known you like them
If we go to Birmingham, we eat at Cracker Barrel before the show and stop in Leeds for food.
I always buy one tshirt at a show. ALWAYS.
On the way to the show (in Atlanta), we listen to their local radio station.
On the way home, we listen to the bands we saw.
Any takers? Dayna? Jay? Brad?
