It can be temporary or permanent. Some cancers can come back after years of remission, others are gone for good. So to answer your question, it may not be there at the present time, but it can come back.
Good answer Jaycup. Remission can be a nervous time for some, usually just at the outset, because of the not knowing when or if it will come back. My wife is currently in remission and I wake up every day wondering if it's back. The docs say that eventually we won't think about it so much but he don't know me or how much I love my wife.
Erik, he looks REALLY good for someone who's been through a marrow transplant and chemo. Really good. If the picture is any indicator he'll make a full recovery. I'm not a fan but I hope he does. Cancer fucking sux.
