the way the headliners have gotten worse and worse each year, it would be a difficult task to make a failer headliner then Marilyns Manson, Korn, and Disturbed... but i think the mayhem organizers are up to the challenge...

but i think MC skipped Crue Fest last year to do it right? Sorry I don't know anything about Shinedown's own summer fest. Never knew they had one. Is it arenas or just clubs?
Motley Crue was going to take the year off when they got the Ozzfest offer. Shinedown just started their festival this past summer, so it might not be a yearly thing, but it looks like it's happening again this year. It's just a regular amphitheater tour like Mayhem.

Meh. I don't like all of those bands. I hate Buckcherry and Hinder, for instance. I don't think they're all the same....but to each his own, I know I'm in the minority.
I detest all of those bands, with the exception of Shinedown who have a few songs that I like. You can throw Nickelback and whatever the name of the band that sounds exactly like Nickelback in there too.

completely agree.....and here is my disclaimer saying that I am not some immature asshole who ONLY likes teh br00tul metal from norway, or only obscure weird experimental post grunge emo prog country....I listen to dozens of styles/genres and have a genuine love for all types of music....I couldn't imagine going thru life being unable to hear music, and being able to constantly find new music....My life literally has a soundtrack, for everything I do and wherever I go, music is a part of it....
