Mayhem is totally put together better. They were equal for me last year. Mayhem I went with a bunch of friends and was in the pit, but Ozzfest, it poured during Drowning Pool and Ozzy was badass. So, equal.
for mansfield drowning pool and bls didnt even come out cuz it was down pouring and we left before the main stage cuz we were freezing and couldnt be outside any longer. we saw skeletonwitch savours and goatwhore. it sucked but not ozzfests fault...
i never like drowning pool, but their performance last year in the rain was pretty awesome!!! i guess i had a better time at last years ozzfest, but i have fun at all these events... theyre all madd fun reguardless if there's a few shitty bands playing...
I preferred Ozzfest last year as far as atmosphere. There weren't as many people there, it was easy to move around, and the bands that signed had virtually no line. I liked Mayhem's main stage over the one Ozzfest had but I preferred Ozzfest's side stage over both that Mayhem had.

Basically same feelings except I like Mayhem's side stages more. I mean, I loved all the bands on Ozzfest side stage except for BLS and Drowning Pool, but more variety at Mayhem last year.
But the autograph lines at Ozzfest, and even the side stage pit area was great. You could just go wherever you wanted to.
