The new Stratovarius is really that good? Really? REALLY?

I take it you've either heard it and disagree or haven't heard it and are surprised that it's better than the plethora of good post-rock, progressive, and folk that's come out this year. I don't think I see it staying at #2 but I think it's going to be fairly high when the year is over, and probably a bit higher than where I've seen it on most lists.

That's irrelevant. Me capitalizing genres had nothing to with what could have been an interesting argument.

I don't think it would be, it's completely up to one's own preference as to whether they consider a certain band/genre "boring" or not.
