Deconstruction was awesome. The album really felt like a concept, and rather religion themed too, in the special Devin way of course. IT was a very heavy album most of the time, and there were a few songs with blast beats, which worked well mixed with the more melodic sections and such.
However, Ghost was amazing. That album was great all the way through, and had an incredibly warm and organic sound (Townsend usually does). It was pretty ambient at parts, and it was an acoustic album different than Ki.

with all the hype and promotion i fell right into the "trap"... i really liked it the first like week i heard it. Then it basically just died, and became pretty forgetable. For all that hype, it was a pretty forgetable album.

Mogwai are very good, so are Radiohead (although I haven't listened to the new one), and Iron & Wine ain't bad. Not really a big fan of anything else on the list though, especially Death Cab. But you could use more folk music in your life.

When Jorm says folk.. he means Traditional folk. Not the metal attempt at it.

I only saw a Pearl Jam live album and an Eddie Vedder solo album, which was overwhelming enough evidence to make the whole list shit.
