In defense of Xeno, why does the fact that ToG was one of the first releases of 2011 make it a bad release? It's a great album....not Album of the year, but........

metalcore by nature IS generic, and it takes a while to weed out the crap; you almost have to dismiss EVERY mc release during the year if you find a mc album you really like, so as not to have it blend in with the noise.....that prolly makes no sense.....In my opinion, there are less than 6 Metalcore groups worth even acknowledging:
