The only bands I see bumping it from number 1 for me are Mastodon, RHCP, Opeth, and BTBAM if they release their LP this year. Vektor and Cormorant may have a shot.

Probably the biggest disappointment for me this year so far, but have no fear, the new Morbid Angel is going to eventually claim that distinction. (In fact, I think the track previews already did it for me)
