to be honest man, I missed the whole fucking game 5pm eastern is a weird time for the flyers to play, totally forgot it was on. I was pissed when my bro asked me if I seen them game. I saw the highlights then next day. good game, glad the Flyers held on. Possibly a Stanley Cup preview...
Capitals owner Ted Leonsis talks about the "Flyers suck" chants that broke out at the Winter Classic:
“The highlight for me was two sections filled with Caps fans and Pens fans and they looked at each other and they started chanting, 'Flyers suck,’” [Ted] Leonsis said after the game. “It's like they bonded around something.”
Flames will win to help the Starz out. They said "fuck the red wings. who likes a team the resembles a woman getting eaten out while on her period. We hate shit like that so we will help the Starz. smiley face"
Philadelphia Flyers Reportedly Interested in Acquiring Jamie Langenbrunner
According to The Delaware County Times, the Philadelphia Flyers are interested in acquiring Jamie Langenbrunner from the New Jersey Devils. Suspicion broke out when Langenbrunner was scratched Thursday night against the Flyers, and it looks like there is more to this story than people think.
Langenbrunner, 35, apparently wants to stay close to the New Jersey area, which could give the Flyers the advantage in acquiring him. Langenbrunner has also reportedly been asked to waive his no-trade clause. The Devils winger has a cap hit of $2.8 million, which the Flyers could squeeze in, if they max out their long-term injury reserve.
The Delaware County Times reports that the Flyers are offering up draft picks for the aging winger. Only time will tell, but if the Flyers could land a player of Langenbrunner's caliber, it could very well be exactly what they need to bring Lord Stanley's Cup back to Philadelphia.
Philadelphia has a first-round pick this year, after trading away their last two in the Chris Pronger trade. The Flyers also have a third, fourth, sixth and seventh as well. The Flyers would probably have to give up a first and/or third, and maybe throw in a player to sweeten the pot.
the Stars traded for him. the Flyers offered the Devils 2 picks and they didnt want that, oh well. langenbruner has struggled this year. he would have been on a 3rd line, flyers are doing fine, when pronger gets healthy, they'll be even better.
