Selanne scores. 3-1 Ducks. I don't think they'll trade him tomorrow. :-<</p>
I can't help but feel so sorry for you guys today. I mean to have the best record in the NHL, just coming off a record breaking home win streak and being in a clear position to have home ice throughout the playoffs and you guys might not get selanne now? That's terrible. Let me know if you need to talk about it. Of all the teams in the NHL that should be crying in thier beer it should be Wings fans right about now.
Nothing's happening right now anywhere really, only minor moves.
Speaking of minor moves, Commodore was traded to the Lightning for a draft pick to open up a roster spot. Makes sense since he wasn't going to get much playing time anymore.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Andrei Kostitsyn is being reunited with his brother Sergei in Nashville.
The Montreal Canadiens dealt the winger to the Predators for a second-round pick in 2013 and a conditional fifth-round selection ahead of the NHL's trade deadline.
Andrei Kostitsyn is earning $3.25 million and will become an unrestricted free agent July 1. He's struggled recently and has 12 goals and 24 points in 53 games this season.
"We've been watching him for a long time," said Predators assistant GM Paul Fenton. "He's a very high-end, top-skilled type of player. Just getting him to play when he wants to play has been the knock on him.
"We think with the insulation we have with our players that we'll be able to do that."
The Kostitsyn brothers played together with the Habs from 2007 to 2010.
The conditional pick Montreal sent to the Predators is one they acquired in the Hal Gill trade last week.
Lidstrom and Quincey are day-to-day. Lidstrom has a lower body bruise, Quincey has a sore groin. Brendan Smith and Kindl will probably both play tomorrow.
And before anyone asks why they traded Commodore when they knew these guys were hurt, it's because Holland agreed to ship him to Tampa as part of the Quincey deal.
EDIT: Lidstrom was hit in the ankle with a puck and that's the cause of the bruise. He's expected to play tomorrow.

2.5 hours left. Wonder if Chicago makes any moves?

Quincey is definitely out tomorrow, so Smith and Kindl will play. Lidstrom might play, but if he can't, they'll call up another defenseman from GR.
Also, MacDonald's starting. Not injury-related, just to give Jimmy a night off.
