Silva for sure should have been more aggressive in the 4th. I thought it was 2-2 going into the 5th but that 4th round was bisping taking the center for the most part. Silva flurried the last minute so I thought he took it but it was close.
I just don't get why he wasn't a little more aggressive in the 4th. It wouldn't have taken much for him to win that round. But then again he did think he won the fight. Probably should have been stopped )
I feel like Bisping would have won the fight even if both fighters were still in their primes. Anderson always relied on fighters leaving opening for him to counter with, but the thing is if he faced a very good striker he would struggle with that. Patrick Cote as an example and even Demian Maia was starting to light Silva up at the end of their fight. Silva had a great career but I was always on the fence about his quality of opponents. That's why I felt GSP would have won if that superfight ever happened. Sure Silva is in his 40's but he hasn't taken the kind of damage fighters like Hendo have taken throughout the years. Great fight though, need more like it in the decision era of mma.
PED silva wouldn't have gotten dropped by bisping i don't think doe. It was an awesome fight. I would love Bisping to get a title shot. Even though he would get stomped by rockhold. Bisping has so much heart, he deserves one chance.
Bisping will go down as one of the best fighters to never fight for the strap. Shouldn't even give Weidman a rematch. Make Bisping vs Luke, but instead they'll prob feed Bisping to Jacare and we all know how that would end
Don't sleep on Nate Diaz if he comes in, in shape. There's a reason we have weight classes. BJ Penn tried fighting bigger dudes and got demolished. McGregor will have the advantage though but it's not set in stone. Nate is dangerous. Wish it was Nick fighting doe.
i dont get get why he would even call that fight out. Machida got his ass beat both of the last 2 fights. That's not gonna cause a lot of momentum for him.
I will say though silva should have won that fight by KO after the third. Bisping's conrner say the stool up where he went out by the knee and it took over 90 seconds for the next round to start. That was a buzzard scene.
Damn. 4 months ago I still had some doubt in Conor. But even firas zahabi says Conor had "the kiss of death" in his right hand. I would not be shocked to see a first round KO. The thing is Nate has Ben boxing his whole life, and he's got the monkey arms. If he keeps Conor out of range he might make it last a couple.
Nate was apperantly in the middle of training for one of the triathlons they run for so it sounds like he should be in good shape. This shit is gonna be awesome lol.
I watched the Silva Bisping fight again. It was pretty clear that 40 year old anderson just didn't have the gas to go 5 rounds. I feel like this is probably the reason he sat back so much. He needed to rest.
It was an awesome fight but both guys are really on their last leg.
Its becoming hard for me to watch anderson. My heart wants him to regain his old form, but my brain knows its over. Its a shame.

Hes fetting the the rematch cause middleweight is probably the weakest division in the sport. I'm hoping bisping will get a vitor rematch.
i was was like damn that's out of left field )
