Its rare for luke to throw two punches at a time let a lone combinations. Luke has to take this fight to the ground to stand a chance.
IMO these guys are virtually even in their ground games. Rockholds submission defense is wonders, but weidmans top game is suffocating. They both can ground and pound with the best.
They are virtually even with chris having a striking edge. The two areas of the fight where i see the biggest gap between the two of them.
Rockhold doesn't have a strong chin ( weidman is durable as fuck) weidmans cardio is suspect. (luke's is great)
Luke has good footwork, but in order for it to be effective i think he needs to be going forward. I just don't see him getting the space he needs to be effective with it.
He's 6'3 - 6'4 with long legs. He might not kick as much if he's worried about the takedown but if he starts defending those it's going to be a long night for Weidman.
One of Aldo's teammates said win or lose that they think Jose is going to retire after this fight. If that's the case Connor already has this fight one.
Yeah, im probably gonna pay for fight pass tonight just to watch sage fight. I don't really want to but i also want to watch this kid and see if the hype is real. He looked good in his first fight but i want to see him with tougher competition.
Chanel sonnen made a good point about Jose Aldo. He's been saying that he is scared. He was saying last night that if Jose planned on beating Connors ass that he would be doing more media. Instead he's avoiding everything he can because "he wants less people to watch" he also said that he thinks also might miss weight.

Connor is healthy for this fight. I think Jose is in trouble. Have a feeling Connor will KO him in the second or third. Although during the face off I noticed Connor was breathing rather heavy. He was probably just hype at the face Jose was actually there, but it could be a sign he's nervous.
This is one of those fights where I'm not sure how it will go. I think it will go to the cards because both fighters are tough as nails and won't get finished. My safe bet is Aldo taking it.
Idk man. Aldo got dropped by Chad and Chad didn't even phase Connor. Connor isn't going to get finished doe. With the IV ban I just don't see also being able to take Connors left hand. If he can I could see aldo winning a decision. I just see his chin being an issue.
